Une occasion de s'inspirer et de développer son réseau. Les enseignants belges de NetAcad recevront une journée d'accès gratuit à CiscoLive le jeudi 8 février 2024. Tous les enseignants inscrits dans une académie Cisco auront accès au Networking Academy Day. Il n'est pas nécessaire d'être accrédité par Cisco. La plupart des sessions NetAcad se dérouleront en néerlandais. Cependant, vous pouvez visiter CiscoLive gratuitement pendant une journée. Il est souhaitable que tous les instructeurs NetAcad intéressés s'inscrivent via cet hyperlien. Si vous disposez d'un billet d'entrée, il est judicieux d'enregistrer votre présence à la journée de l'Académie de mise en réseau. BiASC proctoring CCNA & CCNP Certification Exams for Member Academies and Instructors

Testing anywhere, anytime ...

For Cisco NetAcad Member Academies, BiASC is providing a new service of certification exam proctoring.

Students and Instructors are able to take the exam at the local academy. You will get a discount voucher if you pass the Final Exam for a Networking Academy certification training with a result of 70% or more.

NetAcad Conference - Iceland - August 2022 - Cyber Security learning paths, best practices and tools

From 25 until 30 August 2022 a conference for sixty instructors and education managers of Networking Academies was organized in Iceland. Instructor Trainers from BiASC have been active at the conference presenting Cyber Security learning paths, best practices and tools.

Role of Instructor Training Centers

This information is taken from the New Networking Academy Membership Guide

Instructor Training Centers (ITCs) train and authorize new and current NetAcad instructors and offer the following services:

• Provide one year of technical support to NetAcad instructors who complete instructor training courses or the Instructor Fast Track (IFT) option 
• Create ongoing instructor professional development (IPD) opportunities on a transactional or subscription basis
• Share online instructor resources 
• Help NetAcad instructors understand lab equipment needs for the curricula associated with instructor training courses they complete
• Assist NetAcad instructors with lab setup
• Answer instructors’ technical questions about NetAcad courses or labs

All Instructor Training Centers must comply with the terms of their membership agreement and this Membership Guide

BiASC Activities 2014: ASC + ITC + ARC

These are the main activities of BiASC for the year 2014

1. Studying, researching and preparing new IT curricula for academies*
2. Onboarding: supporting new and existing academies*
3. Providing Academy Orientation: informing and advising academies*, trainers and instructors about evolutions and new trends both in the domain of IT and in Pedagogy
4. Organizing and attending international conferences about evolutions and new trends both in the domain of IT and in Pedagogy
5. Training teachers and instructors
6. Promoting new and helpful resources
7. Aligning international courses with local curriculum; Adapting and Translating course materials
8. Accrediting instructors to teach protected curricula
9. Collaborating to improve the teaching and learning of IT
10. Sponsoring competitions for IT students in the field of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship

*Academies are university colleges and other educational institutions

The recommended time requirements for instructor training are listed in the link below.

These guidelines are the minimum expectations to complete each course.

Instructor Training Centers may determine time requirements need to be adjusted; however, the minimum expectations stated below should be used as the baseline and increased based on individual ITC circumstances.
