Cisco Networking Academy: CyberSecurity Pathway
Everyone experiences the impact of digital technologies in our economy and society. Digitization has an impact on economic growth, reducing unemployment, improving quality of life, and boosting citizens' access to public services. The demand for IT professionals and employees with basic digital skills to support digitization is huge: currently there are over 750K open ICT jobs in Europe. This gap is expected to lead to 1.7 million unfilled ICT vacancies in 2025.
Networking Academy Program
The Cisco Networking Academy Program has been around for 24 years to bridge this gap. Three million students globally last schoolyear were enrolled in Cisco NetAcad courses, more than 15 million students since inception. It is the mission of Cisco Networking Academy to enable the IT-workforce of the future to transition to the labor market, thereby bridging the gap experienced in our labor markets.
