CompTIA Partner Day - 22 May 2018

CompTIA organiseert op 22 mei een partnerbijeenkomst voor aangesloten academies. Tijdens deze bijeenkomst zal Alison Pearce van CompTIA een update geven van de certificeringen van CompTIA. Ook is er aandacht voor de nieuwe certificering Pentest+.  Ook de rol van CompTIA gerelateerd aan contentontwikkeling zal worden toegelicht.

The updated CompTIA ITF beta exam will be available February 21st, 2018. It will certify that the successful candidate has the knowledge and skills required to identify and explain the basics of computing, IT infrastructure, software development, and database use.

Reeds vele jaren gebruiken educatieve instellingen en hogescholen het online cursusmateriaal en de simulatiesoftware Packet Tracer van Cisco Networking Academy. De laatste tijd is er veel materiaal bijgekomen. Op donderdagnamiddag 23 november 2017 willen wij de Vlaamse en Brusselse educatieve instellingen wegwijs maken in de nieuwe mogelijkheden.

CompTIA made public the new Security+ SY0-501 exam. Version SY0-501 is designed to better reflect today's best practices for risk management and risk mitigation. The updated exam covers a greater emphasis on a security professional's practical and hands-on ability to both identify and address security threats, attacks and vulnerabilities.

The new version has also been updated to reflect how cybersecurity jobs are becoming more specialized. As new skills like security analytics become more prevalent, skills covered in Security+ have become a baseline for all cybersecurity jobs. Because of this, the importance of and demand for Security+ has increased for a broader variety of job roles.

Infosessie Basistrajecten "Digitale Vaardigheden"
