TWINNING REMOTE LAB CHALLENGE FOR CISCO NETWORKING ACADEMIES -- BASICS
CHALLENGE
Design, develop, prototype and create a solution based on the Twinning concept for remote Cisco Academy labs.
Twin Academy Teams are briefed, trained, coached and followed up by NetAcad Coaches and Cisco Experts
TEAMS -- Teams need to be official Cisco Academies
- Number of teams: 8 co-creation teams or "Twin Academies"
- Student Proficiency Level: CCNA 3, Security, CyberOps, CCNP
HOW TO WIN?
- DIDACTIC -- Didactic documentation of the added value => 25%
- TECHNICAL -- Technical documentation & quality of the prototype => 25%
- COMMUNICATION -- User guide, videos and demos => 25%
- PITCHING -- Live pitch + online demonstration => 25%
DATES -- Team activities and communication will be online using Webex
- December 2, 2020 => Informing ASCs
- Until January 29, 2021 => Enrolling Twin Teams
- February 5, 2021 => Didactic & Technical Briefing => Instructors
- February-March 2021 => Twin Academy Hackathon: Ideation & Prototype Development => Local Winners
- Preparing International Final
- April 2nd, 2021 => Online Pitching and Demonstrating Prototype => Competition Winners + Awards
EXPERTS AND ADVISORS
During the competition the "Twin Academy Teams" will be advised via Webex by NetAcad coaches and Cisco experts. Based on the team prototype experts and advisors will give a go for the teams that will be invited to create a working solution.
JURY
The jury consists of technical and non-technical professionals who understand the use cases presented in the competition.
