During the next six months 14 educational institutions will take part internationally in the IoE Launchpad Workshops and Hackathon. Afterwards other interested groups will be able to take part with their students.
The pilot Belgian Hackathon will be organised in Brussels from 16 to December 2015 at Odisee UC, Warmoesberg 15. In 2016 more locations will be able to organize a similar event for students. If you like your institution to take part in the future, please join the event as a coach or a jury member. More info from <[email protected]>

ENGAGE STUDENTS TO LEARN IoE TECHNICAL and 21st CENTURY SKILLS IN FUN AND MEANINGFUL WAY
Internet of Everything (IoE)
The Internet of Everything (IoE) is the networked connection of people, process, data and things. As more people, data and things come online, we develop processes to harness the vast amounts information being generated by all these connected people and things.
The Internet of Everything is able to improve quality of life for people everywhere by taking advantage of these connected things and the data produced, and incorporating new processes that enable people to make better decisions and offerings.
The IoE enables accurate and timely information that can result in changing human behavior for the benefit of all people. It facilitates feedback that allows people to make informed decisions that bridge the differences between actual outputs and desired outputs. This is known as a feedback loop. A feedback loop can provide real-time information based on current behavior, and then deliver actionable information to modify that behavior.
The highest value of the IoE is realized when process facilitates the integration of Machine-to-Machine (M2M), Machine-to-Person(M2P), and Person-to-Person (P2P) connections.
"Connecting the unconnected" requires a convergence between an organization’s operational technology (OT) and the information technology (IT) systems those organizations have in place.
