Here are the steps for a future EMC Academy to start teaching online courses about information storage. The raw course materials are provided by the EMS Academic Alliance. Moreover, a full range of hands-on labsand online tests are provided by skillsAlliance using the Canvas learning environment.

Onboarding process
1. Premium Member registration in the EMC Academic Alliance
The raw course materials are provided by the EMS Academic Alliance
Please sign up for the default #EMCAA program via http://education.emc.com/academicalliance.
When you officially will get approved there, you will receive an email from EMC with the information on all necasssary things required to be done in order to access Academic Alliance resources.
Once this registration in Academic Alliance has been be completed, you will receive a separate email from INLEA with detailed information on the registration procedure in the SkillsAlliance Campus.
2. Premium Member registration in the skillsAlliance Campus
This is necessary in order to have access to online learning materials, hands-on labs and tests.
3. Agreement with Academy Resource Center (BiASC)
An agreement between the PREMIUM MEMBER (educational institution) and BIASC (Academy Resource Center) is necessary with regard to professional development, train-the-trainer sessions and programme support.
4. Access to Academic Alliance resources
- Register for an account on EMC Account, EMC’s Enterprise Portal. This account is required to receive your free faculty readiness training (in Video Stream format).
- Click here and select “register” to create and activate an EMC Community Network Account. You must log in at least once to activate your account.
- Request account for Academic Alliance Faculty Community. Account confirmation and details will be sent to you by email within 2-3 business days of request
Important: The same email ID must be used for all account registrations.
INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
A Faculty Readiness Training for the default program application exists. However, it only includes video content. Train-the-trainer sessions for the premium members are being organized BIASC.
