On 24 September 2013 Alexandra Martinez (Technobel) took part in the global NETRIDERS competition. Students from more than 50 countries took part.

7:30 – 7:45 GMT Participants should arrive to their designated locations.
7:45 - 8:00 GMT Competitors login to the Competition site at www.academynetriders.com while Proctors and/or Competitors should login to WebEx session sent by Tracy Granlund on 12 September. The WebEx session will be audio broadcast so there is no need to dial in unless there are issues that cannot be resolved using Q&A or chat.
8:05 – 8:15 GMT We will provide instructions verbally via audio broadcast and via WebEx slides before opening the exams

After the announcement on the WebEx session, emails will be sent to AAMs, proctoring instructors and winners first and then by the next day we will post to the competition site for all competitors to see. We will only post the rankings, not actual scores.
A Proctor’s role is:
• to make sure competitors arrive on time for the competition on 24 September (should arrive at least 20 minutes before the start time),
• have equipment ready or communicate that competitors need to bring their own laptop, and
• help with any login issues working with the NetRiders team via WebEx session Q&A
• make sure that competitors do not use any notes or access websites for help during the exams
• monitor the time and remind students to save and submit their work before the time runs out
